Welcome to the Chair Information Service and Electronic Markets
The Schroff Foundation Chair of Information Services and Electronic Markets was established in 2001. Since its foundation, Prof. Dr. Andreas Geyer-Schulz has been the holder of the chair and the head of the research group of the same name.
We are part of the Institute for Customer Insights (CIN), which emerged from the former Institute for Information Systems and Marketing (IISM) in 2025.
The third block of the lecture and exercise "Business Dynamics" has been postponed from 17.01.2026 to 24.01.2026.
From now on the lecture and exercise "Intelligent Agent Architectures" will take place in room -1.009 in the math building (20.30).
At the beginning of 2025, the former Institute for Information Systems and Marketing (IISM) was split into two new institutions: the Institute for Information Systems (WIN) and the Institute for Customer Insights (CIN).
The research group Information Services and Electronic Markets is now part of the Institute for Customer Insights. Thus, IISM/EM has become CIN-IEM.
